Do It Yourself  IceCream!



DIY ice cream in a plastic bag! Combine ingredients in a 1 quart plastic bag, seal and place in another 1 quart bag then seal. Place 1 quart bag mixture in a gallon size bag with ice and salt squeezing the air out. Shake for 7-8 minutes. Wear gloves and make sure to wrap a towel around the bag. It's tiring for younger kids, so you may have to take turns shaking the bag. Thanks for watching and Please Subscribe! Supplies and ingredients below.

Things you need:
2 1 Quart size Ziploc: Valerie
1 1 Gallon size Ziploc: Valerie
4 c Cups ice: Valerie
6 T. Salt or rock salt: Shakayla
1/2 Cup Milk (whole milk) or Heavy Cream for a creamy consistency. :Valerie
1 T. Sugar: Valerie
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract: Joe

Extra toppings(optional)
Candy: Rosa

Science Note: The freezing point of salt water is below 32 degrees, therefore adding it to the ice/water mixture lowers the temperature below 32 degrees which helps with partially freezing the cream, which is necessary in making ice cream

Week Three of Tutoring

   Today is Monday, I did have school. Anyway, week three of tutoring and no one has shown up, excpept the people that work and a couple of middle school students. I have learned how to play Apples to Apples and You've been Sentenced. Both have to do with spelling, adjectives, nouns etc..
    I am looking forward to my photo projects! one of them I named Colorful Collage, The project is going to be to take pictures of different designs, colors, patterns, nature and so on. I will start working on my project so I have an example to show the students and my blog viewers :D I will post more about my projects as soon as I can. Keep comin back to see what I have done!
